The Man Your Man Could Look Like
Look at your man, now back to me, now back at your man, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped using ladies skins and switched to LaVie, he could look like he’s me.
Look down, back up, where are you?
You’re on a beach with the man your man could look like.
What’s in your hand? Back at me-
I have it, it’s an oyster with a gift card from that place you love.
Look again-
The gift card is now diamonds.
Anything is possible when you’re in Second Life and wear LaVie skins-
I am a horse.
I credit/blame Annie Ibanez of IBANEZ eyes and my recent RL date for this set-up. She was looking for an African American model to test some eyes, and he sent me an amusing caption (perhaps more amusing to me because something like this came up in my cognitive psychology class this past summer).
Look back to the images- this skin is for men, man. Or those who like to play with avatar genders, like me. Either way, the Echo line by LaVie offers a smooth yet experienced visage for those looking to project a ruggedly suave demeanor. The series offers four hues, ranging from a creamy pale to a milk chocolate dark, with each incarnation featuring nine different facial hair styles. Additionally, each skin comes with a variety of eyebrow, liner, chest and hair base options.
I personally adore all the extra add-ons, as it allows me to create a unique image with just the skin; lines without such offerings put the onus on shape and accessories. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, but if all you’re dressed in is a man thong in a swimwear contest, having a nicked brow will give you that much more personality to stand out from the crowd. The one thing I can identify as needing improvement would be the highlighting in places such as the back of the shins and the pectorals, as it seems a bit too light from my perspective. Otherwise, the attention to detail on the hair – including texturing on the limbs in appropriate areas – is fantastic. In my opinion, of course.
Obligatory banana hammock.
