Life out on the Street: Emperor’s New Clothes

ROFLRazzle Celebrity
Thank you, user Lindie78 for this delightful image.

So, I’m in a large designer’s store, and the items are definitely high quality and work their pricetags. Whilst searching for a particular outfit, this flashes across my screen:

[17:38] Resident One: omg
[17:38] Resident One: I WANT A HUG
[17:38] Resident One: !!!!!!!!!! YOUR A CUNT !!!!!!!!!!
[17:38] Resident One: Your a CUNT!!!
[17:39] Resident One: omg
[17:39] Resident One: se logged
[17:39] Resident Two: she logg??
[17:39] Resident One: OMG
[17:39] Resident One: THAT WAS A BAD IDEA
[17:39] Resident Two: lolzz
[17:39] Resident Two: told u

Yes, I muted them. And I’m glad I had my sound off. Honestly, though, is the detachment from the avatar and user that great that they think they can go to a high-end store, buy expensive clothes, and have their complete lack of tact covered up? This is not even Ebonics, Southern slang, or any sort of culturally based dialect. This is just… ugh. This ultimately comes down to another image:

My Love in her attire doth show her wit,
    It doth so well become her;
For every season she hath dressings fit,
    For Winter, Spring, and Summer.
    No beauty she doth miss
When all her robes are on:
    But Beauty’s self she is
When all her robes are gone.
